I appreciate your smart blog on the causes of anxiety and sadness. Your study of Object Relations Theory offers a convincing foundation for appreciating how early relationships create our emotional terrain.

As you pointed out, our self-perception and emotional reactions could be influenced by these internalised "Objects"—representations of important individuals. This is consistent with results of the National Centre for Biotechnology Information, which imply that the development of depression is much influenced by personality elements, early events, and social interactions.
